These are OEM Genuine Bosch 42# (440cc) “Green Giants”. There are lots of cheap counterfeit copies that simply do not perform so great care has been used in sourcing. These require a ECM re-mapping and shouldn’t be swapped with the original red tops without. They are fully compatible with the standard injector harness and MCS billet fuel rail. However, if using the stock fuel rail a small modification of the retaining clip area is needed to use them safely with the stock retaining clips.
Next generation injector design offers a plastic body (won’t rust), quieter operation and better atomization while still providing enough fuel flow for at higher rpm and boost levels. These are so much better than the standard red top injectors, which haven’t been made new in two decades , they are used even for stock builds and every MCS Trionic 5 conversion kit .
