Trionic 7 Tunes

Trionic 7 was the first major revision to Trionic Engine management system. It introduced a couple of very important changes to the basic method of fuel calculation and also integrated Electronic Throttle Control to improve drivability and streamline engine components. It was also the first system to fully utilize the CANBUS architecture with other vehicle modules. These helped to further improve turbocharging response as well as fuel efficiency.

Higher levels of vehicle security made it necessary to fingerprint every ECM with the vehicles Immobilizer Code. This code is unique the the vehicle and can be found on the back of the original ECM connector. This code and Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is necessary to replace the factory ECM with another.
